The Flash Flood Watch continues for * Portions of Arkansas and northwest Louisiana, including the following areas, in Arkansas, Columbia and Union. In northwest Louisiana, Claiborne and Webster. * Until midnight CST tonight * Periods of moderate rainfall with continue through midnight across portions of the region. Additional rainfall amounts could total one inch in addition to what has already fallen. This will result in rapid water runoff due to the nearly saturated soils and high water levels for area rivers, creeks, and bayous, resulting in flash flooding. * Flash flooding of roads, low lying, and poor drainage areas will be possible. If you encounter flash flooding while driving your vehicle, remember to turn around, don`t drown.
